BBA Hospitality and Event Management course is a 3-years undergraduate course that deals with the hospitality and event management field. Hospitality basically refers to a causal relationship between the guests and the hosts. Hospitality is an act of welcoming guests or strangers without any reward or with kind of generous liberty. As the human-centered philosophy, hospitality has been infused in most major religions and cultures. Event Management is nothing but the art of planning a festival, ceremony, competition, party, concert or convention, event planning. As an event manager one is responsible to oversee and arrange every aspect of an event including and evaluating an event’s design, activities and production. The course deals with basic concepts of hospitality and event management. The course aims to impart the fundamental knowledge and operational skills to students in areas of customer service, ticketing, tour operations, CRS operations and GDS facilities. The course trains the students to acquire a thorough knowledge and understanding of marketing sales, tour planning, etc.
