We're immediately seeking a dynamic Restaurant Captain to join our 3-star hotel. This pivotal role is crucial for ensuring exceptional guest experiences through efficient food order booking and dedicated food service. Key responsibilities include explaining diverse menu items and offering recommendations to guests, accurately taking food and beverage orders, providing food service in a proper and timely manner, and preparing guest bills based on their orders. You'll also be responsible for submitting all bills to the front office for payment collection, professionally addressing any guest complaints or special requests, and regularly inspecting the hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant premises.

Right now, our kitchen service is temporarily stopped due to some unavoidable circumstances.

Because of this, we need outside catering support for our guests and staff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Here are your detailed job responsibilities:

We will provide you with the menu chart.
You'll need to discuss breakfast options with guests to finalize them, then place the order with the caterer.
You'll then talk to guests again to confirm their menu choices and place the order with the caterer.
For staff, you'll order lunch according to the menu chart.
All caterer orders for both guests and staff lunch must be placed between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Similarly, at night, you'll need to meet with guests between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM to finalize their dinner orders and then place them with the caterer.
You'll be responsible for billing based on the exact number of plates provided by the caterer for guests.
You must prepare a daily statement.
Guest bill details and statements will also be required.
You need to interact daily with guests to ensure we collect the maximum number of plate orders.
You'll collect feedback on food quality from guests and promptly communicate it to the caterer.
During your off-time or when you have spare time, you'll be expected to assist us with other tasks.
You need to persuade guests to place food orders. You'll also continuously discuss with the caterer to ensure food is provided properly. It's crucial to keep track of how many people had breakfast, ensuring that not a single complementary breakfast is missed.
If there are guests beyond those receiving complimentary breakfast, you'll interact with them as well to take their orders.
