Nexus Select Trust has acquired Vega City Mall in South Bengaluru for ₹913 crore, marking its fourth retail asset in the city. This Grade-A shopping mall, soon to be rebranded as Nexus Vega City, spans nearly 0.5 million sq. ft. and is 96% leased to a diverse mix of international and domestic brands, including Adidas, H&M, Levi’s, and MAC Cosmetics . Strategically located near an upcoming metro station, the mall is positioned to serve a dense, affluent catchment area. The acquisition was fully financed through debt via listed Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) at a 7.70% interest rate, resulting in a loan-to-value ratio of 17% .This move strengthens Nexus Select Trust’s presence in Bengaluru, enhancing operational synergies and supporting its goal to double its retail portfolio to 20 million sq. ft. within five years .
