The first eligibility criteria that a candidate needs to cross before he appears in the entrance examination is Nationality. For those who are appearing for the entrance exam of the Indian Administrative Service should be a citizen of India. Candidates of other nationality are not allowed to appear in this examination. The second criteria of eligibility that a candidate needs to cross before he is able to sit in the IAS entrance examination are education qualification. A person who holds a degree from any recognized University in any discipline with any percentage or will be getting the degree by the July of the exam year i.e. a final year student is eligible for appearing in this examination.
