10 years experienced tutor takes physics home tuition for
CBSE, ISC, IB & PUC

Subject: Physics
Timing: Full time
Making physics easy using mathematical cocept and block
diagram
FAQ: I am studing in 9th grade and have taken 2 years
integrated coaching in which I am leaning 11th, 12th
physics. I didn't understand impurity in semiconductor and
also how electric field inside a closed conductor held in
external electric field is zero. can you simplify the
topic?
Ans: 1. We add impurity( trivalent, pentavalent) to a
semiconductor to increase its conductivity, as small amount
of impurity generates millions of charge carriers
electrons, holes) responsible for carrying elctric current
in the closed circuit.
2. When conductor is kept in external electric field (Eo)
its electrostatic equilibrium gets disturbed (charges starts
shifting from one side to other side), this forces the
conductor to create their own electric field (Ep) in a
direction opposite to the direction of external electric
field applied. When Ep becomes equal to Eo, we get
Eo-Ep=0.
Note: I will make sure that your grades at school will not
suffer after joining integrated courses.
